CALLING ALL 2009 GRADS!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm yelling!!!! I NEED to get some grads booked for October! I had so much fun last year doing outdoor grad casuals in the fall, but my September is already booked up for this year. I know that you all aren't really starting to think of casuals yet, but if you wait, we won't be able to do any outdoor stuff.

If you're in Grade 12, and want to do your casuals ouside, please call the studio and book an appointment. I'm filling up fast with families, and have no weekends left until mid november. I don't want to miss out on getting some students done while it's still nice, so dial away! 306-697-2435.

For more samples, visit the website, and go to Portfolios, then Celebrating 18, or check out my group on Facebook, Celebrating 18 with Paper Moon Photography.

Blue Eyed Family

Everyone in this family had the most brilliant blue eyes. Combine that with super blonde hair, golden wheat and the sweet light of the late august sun, and you have magic!

Mine

Just a couple of shots of my two from this morning. I was attempting to get one picture of the two of them together, but of course, that was never going to happen!

Cool Family

The other night I went out with this family to do a session here in town. Thank goodness we did it later in the day. It was over 30 degrees during the day, so by 7:00, it was at least cooling off a bit! These kids were so good looking! I had a lot of fun with them :) Thanks for making the drive down guys!

Lumsden wedding

This past weekend I shot my first wedding after being back from holidays. I think I was more nervous than the bride and groom! After 8 years of shooting weddings, my stomach is still all butterflies every saturday.
This couple had the most beautiful ceremony. It was my first Orthodox ceremony, and it was so interesting. Nearly the entire ceremony was sung by the Father and the choir in the loft, and it felt so sacred. It was really cool to see this young couple have such a connection to their faith and eachother. I really enjoyed being a part of this ceremony, and experiencing the different traditions that it included.

I'm back!

For those of you who check in regularly, I apologize for the long pause inbetween posts. My family has been gone on vacation for the past two weeks, but I didn't want to announce that on the blog and have someone break into my house!
I did a wedding on saturday in Lumsden (pictures to follow in a few days), and this was the view on my way home. Isn't Saskatchewan gorgeous??!!

Tough guy in the studio

My girlfriend that I visited a few days ago came down to the studio to do a few shots of her little man. This is the same guy from a few posts ago. Here's just a few. The first one just cracked me up when I got it on the computer. What a goofy look!

More relatives!

My husband's family was all up for the wedding on saturday, so we did a session tonight with some of them. We did a mini session with one of the little guys first, then did a few more with the whole clan (well, almost ;) )

"Hey dude. Look at all those crazy old people trying to make us smile!"

The cousins. No girls here yet! But what sweet little boys.

Our newest family member

Well, today I lost the title of the only young Duryba wife. I now get to share it with an awesome chick and we can carry on the Duryba name together!
Today's wedding was a blast. The groom is my husband's first cousin, and he is a major car guy. He had his Dart all prettied up and ready for the wedding, so of course, a portion of the pictures had it in there. We had a great time at the supper and got to visit with all the aunties and uncles and cousins, so it was fun to be able to relax after a wedding and just enjoy everyone's company. We're so happy for you guys. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! (p.s. I gave you an extra long preview since it'll take me a bit of extra time to get them all edited with holidays coming up for us)

"What kind of smile are you doing??" asks Reg.

"We'll do our nice pretty sister smiles".

"Now the We're Having The Time of our Lives!! smile.

We had to somehow get the rings incorporated into the car as well. Here's what we came up with! Their love is "locked"... I know, I'm a dork. But I had to give a clue as to what it was if some people were wondering!
