Sweet baby

This little girl was such a doll, and so happy! She didn't give us the huge smiles, but she was so content, and never cried or fussed the whole hour we shot. I love the toque!

A new look... opinions please!

I've been fooling around the last few days with a different look. It's got a sort of antique-ish, rustic, grungy type of feel to it. I don't know how I'm incorporating it yet into my studio work, but I'm interested to see if anyone finds it cool. Please leave comments, positive or negative. I'd like feedback on this style. I'm having fun with it, but I might be the only one!

It's been a while!!

Wow. It's been waaaaaay too long since I've updated this last. I really apologize. I checked my traffic report from my blog site, and I've had people stopping by to view it, but I have had nothing new up since before Christmas. So I'm making up for lost time, and have decided to post a whack of new images. Some are grads, some are babies, some wedding album layouts, and the first image is my Casey. I wanted to test a new background, and I thought the hat would look cute on him. He disagreed. This was the only shot I got of him where he's actually facing the camera and looking rather cute. I always loved it when my dad (a photographer) would do test shots of me, but my boys are not such willing subjects. Hope you enjoy the long overdue new images!

Gift Certificates Available

Here we are, just a few days away from Christmas, and I haven't baked a single thing, and still have quite a few presents to buy (including my husband's!) I'm so busy this time of year getting everyone's pictures ready for them to give as presents, that I sometimes leave my own stuff until the very end. I designed a family photo album for my grandma, as we had a family reunion in the summer of this year. So I just finished that a couple days ago. Cutting it very close, but all should be in just in time for the holidays!

If you are in need of a last minute gift, and have run out of ideas, I have Gift Certificates available. Should you be out of town and need one, I could always e-mail a copy to you to print off. For those of you nearby, I also have Bernie Brown prints, and my own artwork as well. I will be at the studio until saturday, so if you would like to stop in to browse, come on over.

The studio will be closed for the holidays from December 23rd until January 2nd. I will be checking e-mail and phone messages during this time, so if you need to contact me, I will return your call/e-mail within a few days of recieving it.

Merry Christmas, and God bless during the holidays. Be safe everyone. Plan a ride home for New Year's Eve if you plan on going out and celebrating!!!

It's not the greatest picture in the world, but it's us!

Alex Runions

Last week I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot for a young up and coming country music star. His name is Alex Runions, and he's been pursuing a music career for the last few years. We had a really fun time getting some cool rock star looking shots! Please take a few minutes to check out his site. It's http://www.alexrunions.com He's got a sample music clip on there, and a bit of information about himself and what he's been up to.

A peak at some November sessions

Well, I've finally gotten around to adding a few images. I was getting the gears from a few people about why nothing new was going up. So here is small glimse of what I was up to in November. I wanted to put more up, but I think there's enough now to make up for my month's blog absence.
This time of year is the craziest time for me, so it's pretty tough to get enough time to update this sort of things. I'm busy getting orders for Christmas sent to the lab, doing up invoices, mailing parcels, making phone calls, etc. so blogging kind of falls to the bottom of the "to do" list. Thanks to everyone who was faithful and kept on checking! There are new images on the website as well, so you can always check in on there for updates.

A Valentine's Day special will be posted shortly after Christmas on here, and possibly on the site, so keep watch for it ladies!
