Gift Certificates Available

Here we are, just a few days away from Christmas, and I haven't baked a single thing, and still have quite a few presents to buy (including my husband's!) I'm so busy this time of year getting everyone's pictures ready for them to give as presents, that I sometimes leave my own stuff until the very end. I designed a family photo album for my grandma, as we had a family reunion in the summer of this year. So I just finished that a couple days ago. Cutting it very close, but all should be in just in time for the holidays!

If you are in need of a last minute gift, and have run out of ideas, I have Gift Certificates available. Should you be out of town and need one, I could always e-mail a copy to you to print off. For those of you nearby, I also have Bernie Brown prints, and my own artwork as well. I will be at the studio until saturday, so if you would like to stop in to browse, come on over.

The studio will be closed for the holidays from December 23rd until January 2nd. I will be checking e-mail and phone messages during this time, so if you need to contact me, I will return your call/e-mail within a few days of recieving it.

Merry Christmas, and God bless during the holidays. Be safe everyone. Plan a ride home for New Year's Eve if you plan on going out and celebrating!!!

It's not the greatest picture in the world, but it's us!

Alex Runions

Last week I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot for a young up and coming country music star. His name is Alex Runions, and he's been pursuing a music career for the last few years. We had a really fun time getting some cool rock star looking shots! Please take a few minutes to check out his site. It's http://www.alexrunions.com He's got a sample music clip on there, and a bit of information about himself and what he's been up to.

A peak at some November sessions

Well, I've finally gotten around to adding a few images. I was getting the gears from a few people about why nothing new was going up. So here is small glimse of what I was up to in November. I wanted to put more up, but I think there's enough now to make up for my month's blog absence.
This time of year is the craziest time for me, so it's pretty tough to get enough time to update this sort of things. I'm busy getting orders for Christmas sent to the lab, doing up invoices, mailing parcels, making phone calls, etc. so blogging kind of falls to the bottom of the "to do" list. Thanks to everyone who was faithful and kept on checking! There are new images on the website as well, so you can always check in on there for updates.

A Valentine's Day special will be posted shortly after Christmas on here, and possibly on the site, so keep watch for it ladies!

I'm slacking off in the posting dept!

Wow. It's been quite a while since I've posted anything. The reason I haven't added anything new in the last week and a half is because I have been busy building a new website. It's a great company designed for helping photographers manage their own sites. So now that I'm able to update my website myself, I have a feeling I'll be posting less stuff on here. This was my sort of bonus area, to display recent sessions that didn't make it up onto the website.

So if you're one of those people who check in regularly (my sister in law Kim is going to be looking on tuesday for her kids, and sorry, I'm not going to have them on here! But check the website....) try looking at the website instead. So far I've been dropping a few new pictures in every few days as I have new sessions. I love it. The girl who had been doing my website for me (Melinda Masse) was awesome, but she has also been getting very busy with her own photography, and was getting pretty bogged down with my requests. So it worked out well that I was able to set up this new site.

I will still try and add images to here every once and a while, but right now I am so swamped with orders and sessions for people wanting Christmas delivery, that I have to put this to the side for awhile.

Thanks for checking in and visit the website whenever you'd like!

A hectic week

Well, this week was a touch hairy! I had so many sessions, but they were all quite different. Harley's, baby Tigger, families on farms, families in the studio, dogs and a baby girl. Lots of variety. Even a few passports, but if I posted those, I'm sure the people would sue me! Enjoy the fall colors in these, cause I think we're drawing near the end of the pretty autumn foliage. I did some pictures by the weeping birch on saturday, and by tuesday afternoon, nearly half of the leaves were gone. We had to do some creative angles for these motorbike shots to make sure we didn't have too much of the neighbor's vehicle in the background!
