Another week with variety

This was another one of those weeks where I got to shoot just about everything under then sun. Here are a few of my favorites. I really had so much fun with everyone. It's great to be able to do something different every day. And I was shooting pretty much everyday for the past little while. Combine that with my 6 year old being off school this week, and my babysitter off on knee surgery, then a computer poop out for a few days, I'm pretty much swamped with my "TO DO" list. So I apologize for any delays this week. I'm on my way to catching up, but I've got a little ways to go!

I lost my e-mail address book!

This morning I had to totally wipe my computer clean and reload all progams. I saved all recent e-mails, but unfortunately thought that my address book was saved as well. Turns out it wasn't. I do have some addresses from whatever e-mails I loaded back in, but there are many that I am missing.

If you would like to be on my e-mail contact list (I sometimes send out specials, or announcements about various things), or are a current customer, please send me an e-mail so I can re-add you back in.

Thanks so much! pmphoto@sasktel.net

2 crazy chicks on a trike

These 2 girls came in last night to do some grad pictures. After all the nice and pretty pictures were taken, they wanted the fun ones. Here's what they came up with! (Sorry I didn't post these last night like I said I was going to girls. I needed to get some sleep instead :)

And a few of the nice and pretty ones ;)

Kipling Grads

It's been a busy couple weeks around here. I've had so many sessions lately, that I've been having to stay up til all hours of the night to keep caught up. I have so much fun shooting the Grade 12 students, and this month I've had the Kipling students in. There are so many beautiful girls in this class! And you guys were all so photogenic. It was a lot of fun. I've only had a few boys in the studio so far, and I haven't gotten to editing them yet, but I don't think they'll be too offended that I didn't post their images. Boys tend to not care quite as much as the girls ;)

As is stated in my little blurb to the right, these images are not to be reproduced in any form. I make my living taking pictures, and I have to remind people that these images are not to be printed from the site, or your Cds that you recieve. If you choose to print your images, instead of ordering through the studio, it makes it really hard for me to keep doing what I do. Please respect my profession and place all orders through the studio. They'll look like crap if you print them off of here anyway, so please just check these out on here, and get your real prints done through me. Then they'll look deadly, and they won't have the big ugly copyright across them.

Thanks for letting me rant quickly. Hope you enjoy the shots we got!

Thanks!

Wow! I can't believe the response to this! Thank you to all the girls who contacted me. I have such a variety of ages, which is sooooo awesome. I sent out this e-mail/blog post at 1:30 in the morning on sunday night, and by 9:30 a.m. monday morning, I had already booked in the first three ladies for the discounted rate.

There were quite a few others who also contacted me and booked in at the regular rate. If you are still interested, just let me know. It looks like my quiet March may not end up being so quiet after all!

"The Secret Session" featuring the Little Black Book - These sessions can run anywhere from a 1/2 hour to 1 hour. You can bring a few changes in outfits if you'd like. When I get finished shooting your session, then it's time for me to sit down and do designing of the album. I will make a customized album for you, in whichever size you choose. It will be designed as a storybook album, similar to my wedding albums. There is alot more time involved after you leave the studio than there is actually taking the pictures. A lot of hours go into editing the images, and setting up the layouts for the pages. But the end result will be gorgeous. To see samples of wedding album layouts, check out the website. www.papermoonphotography.com Under Portfolios you can look in the Storybook section, and there are also a few different layout samples in the Custom section. This will give you an idea of what the final product will look like. The last girl who came in for this type of session even ordered a wall portrait for her bedroom. Something to think about!

I look forward to starting these. Lately I've been shooting a lot of hockey teams, company staff pictures, figure skating clubs, passports, you name it. This will be a fun change!

For prices on the different session packages and albums, please drop me an e-mail. pmphoto@sasktel.net

Women needed - "The Secret Session"

Hey ladies. This post is for you. In the next month or two, I'm hoping to introduce a new type of session. Some of you may have heard of boudior sessions. In this photo shoot, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in, whether that be your sexiest little black dress, or your favorite piece of lingerie. The point is to create images that make you feel hot, and also, make the man in your life blush ;) The images below are actually grad students, but I would shoot a similar style to this. Light and natural, not XXX type stuff. I want you to walk out of the studio feeling like you are smokin'! And by the way, you don't have to be a size 2 to do this. I know how to use lighting to hide areas that you aren't comfortable with, and I will pose you in the most flattering way for your body shape.

If you are interested in being a volunteer for this, to help me kick start the whole thing in motion, please contact me via e-mail (pmphoto@sasktel.net) or phone (306-697-2435).

I will be offering the first 3 women who contact me a session, free of charge, and 25% off on the "Little Black Book". This leather album can hold 12 or 20 images, and sizes range from 4 x 5 up to 10 x 10.

Sweet baby

This little girl was such a doll, and so happy! She didn't give us the huge smiles, but she was so content, and never cried or fussed the whole hour we shot. I love the toque!
