Wedding #2 - Regina

We got lucky enought to get rain for the second wedding of the weekend too! I say that with a little sarcasm, but really, the rain made for such great shots. The overcast sky and wet ground made for such saturated colors, and the umbrella is something you don't get to use at every wedding. I had grabbed it at Winners on my way to the wedding, since we got such pretty shots with the umbrella for friday's wedding.
When we got to the TC Douglas building to do pictures, there were about 7 other weddings trying to photograph inside, since it's a free backup location in case of bad weather. Everyone had the same idea. So instead of fight for an indoor location, we did the pictures outside the building. It was fairly chilly, but the girls toughed it out. And we got to do the pretty rainy shots.
After we finished there, we headed to the Government House. I had never been there before, but a fellow photographer had recommended it to me. Thanks Sharon! It was a perfect location, with the old fashioned light posts, rod iron gate, brick archways and lots of trees. Overall, a terrific day for a wedding!

It took a bit of convincing to get the boys to skip, but look at the fun shot we got guys!

Flower girls often get bored standing up front during the ceremony. Perfect opportunity to snap the shots of the faces they make, trying to entertain themselves.
